Demand charges are a relatively new charge on energy bills. They are applied retrospectively based off the maximum amount of electricity you used during any thirty minute period within certain hours, on the days of the week that the demand charge applies, during a billing period.
Between 1st December and 31st March, each day you will be charged 0.40c per kWh for the highest amount of power used in a single half-hour period (doubled to create an hourly rate) over the month in the window of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday between 15:00 and 21:00.
Between 1st April and 30th November, each day you will be charged 0.13c per kWh for the highest amount of power used in a single half-hour period (doubled to create an hourly rate) over the month in the window of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday between 15:00 and 21:00.
This plan does not have a controlled load tariff option available.

Time of use charges are based on Australian Eastern Standard Time, except when daylight savings applies in which case interval meters are adjusted to Australian Eastern Daylight Time, unless indicated otherwise.
