General terms

Not available all areas or for new properties being connected for the first time. When benefit period ends we’ll still supply you with energy under our contract. We may extend your Energy Plan or set you up with a new one, but only if we’ve written to you first & you haven’t told us not to. Eligibility

This plan is available to the following customers.

  • You must purchase an eligible solar system from Origin, must be net metered & installed within the last 12 months.You must not be receiving a government funded feed-in tariff. If you remove your solar system during the benefit period the offer will continue but you won’t receive the FIT. Only available to premises already on a TOU 5 day tariff.

Incentives

This plan offers the following incentives.

  • Solar feed-in tariffs: The feed-in tariff component of this offer commences once the solar meter has been connected to the grid. During the benefit period you’ll receive a total feed-in tariff of 18 cents per kWh for every kWh of electricity exported to the grid.
  • Solar feed-in tariffs: The Terms and Conditions for Feed-in Tariffs – Victoria’ applies to both the additional feed-in tariff and standard retailer tariff. When the benefit period ends you’ll receive our standard retailer feed-in tariff available at the time your
  • Solar feed-in tariffs: period ends as published on our website. Origin offers a standard retailer feed-in tariff of 3.3 cents per kWh exported which is subject to change at any time. All amounts are GST-inclusive (if any)
  • Origin Go Zero Electricity: If you take up Origin Go Zero Electricity, we will offset the greenhouse gas emissions from your electricity or gas supply through Climate Active, a government-backed carbon neutral certification scheme. The cost is $1.50 per week(Incl. GST).

Green power

This plan allows you to purchase green power.

  • GreenPower 25: For 1.13 cents/kWh 25% of your electricity usage is matched with electricity from Government accredited GreenPower sources
  • GreenPower 50: For 2.25 cents/kWh 50% of your electricity usage is matched with electricity from Government accredited GreenPower sources
  • GreenPower 100: For 4.50 cents/kWh 100% of your electricity usage is matched with electricity from Government accredited GreenPower sources

Contract expiry

We'll give you notice before your contract ends. At the end of the contract term, we will continue to sell you energy and the terms and conditions of the Standard Retail Contract will apply, unless you tell us otherwise.
