Demand charges are a relatively new charge on energy bills. They are applied retrospectively based off the maximum amount of electricity you used during any thirty minute period within certain hours, on the days of the week that the demand charge applies, during a billing period.
Between 1st January and 31st December, each day you will be charged 0.22c per kWh for the highest amount of power used in a single half-hour period (doubled to create an hourly rate) over the day in the window of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday between 15:00 and 21:00.
This plan does not have a controlled load tariff option available.
